Question by toxic: Can bacterial vaginosis cause my boyfriend to get bumps on his privates?
I have bacterial vaginosis, could this cause my boyfriend to get red itchy bumps on his gentials and penis following we have sex? Or could it be that he has bacterial vaginosis?
Is there a over the counter medicine my boyfriend can get it to remedy it? Or when i am cured, will he not get it again?

Nicely, the word “vaginosis” means infection or illness of the vagina, so no he doesn’t have that.
However, if you have a bacterial infection in your vagina, and his penis was in there, then yes he almost certainly has the bacterial infection in his penis. He wants to go to the physician swiftly.

Edit: You have a bacterial infection. It sounds like he has contracted the bacterial infection as nicely. There is no over the counter remedy for that, he has to go to the doctor.
You also require to cease having sex till you are each cured. If one of you takes antibiotics and the other doesn’t, you will just get reinfected and no one will get greater.
He demands a doctor. If it’s achievable, I’d avise you to each go in together so a physician can speak to you each at the very same time to decrease confusion.

im just asking because its mainly lesbians that get this, or u can just get it by douching, smoking, having sex with a female partner, or having sex with many partners, and also by sharing sex toys.
