Candida fungus or yeasts are natural, microscopic organisms that normally occur in mouth, digestive tract, vagina and rectum in small numbers. Yeast infection is also very common in diaper bearing babies. Restricted air flow and wet environment allow yeast to multiply their numbers easily under diapers. Mothers usually delay diaper change after urination due to which the tender skin of babies get easily get infected by yeasts.
