I need Bacterial Vaginosis home remedies?

I am trying to find home remedies for Bacterial Vaginosis. I found here online things like Garlic, and yogurt, but it never said how to use it. There were no directions on how to use neither the garlic or the yogurt. Anyone have any other methods or directions on how to use those?

this is not something to fool with you need to see a doctor the infection can get much worse.And if you don’t take care of it right you can die really

I have had yeast infections before and at first I though that this was one. But earlier today I realized it might be something else. There is a clear discharge but it doesn’t smell at all (but my yeast infections don’t smell either) so that’s kind of why I thought it was a yeast infection. But now the outer area and near my bum is sore and irritated. Could this be the bacterial vaginosis? and is there any thing I can buy over the counter to help? It is friday night and I will not be able to see a Dr. until monday and would like to at least releive some of the discomfort if possible.

First you can go see a doctor on the weekend, offices dont close. Child listen I dont know what it is but i dont suggest you u get anything over the counter it may make it worse.. Call a nurses line in your area you might be able to get it from the phone book or 411. Or better yet call planed parenthood they are open on the weekends, but since its night time i say call a nurses line an then call PPH in the morning..

Later this month I’m get a physical for high school and I’m pretty sure I have Bacterial vaginosis even though I’m not sexually active. It’s this really bad odor and I’ve been doing research and I’m sure.I’m pretty sure I will be taking a urine sample and I want to know is that another way to diagnosis BV without having my ”privacy” invaded.

Have your “privacy invaded” is the only way to get diagnosed. They take a sample of your discharge and look at it under the microscope, it has NOTHING to do with urine.

If you don’t want to deal with that, you can get a Vagisil Screening Kit and check yourself, but the doctor might end up checking you anyway to confirm diagnosis.

I get a yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis at least once a year sometimes I get yeast infections more often. I’m only having sex with one guy, he’s been my only partner for a year and a half. I’m on depo and I think that may play a role in the reoccurring infections. Is there any causes I may be over looking?

There might be an over abundance of yeast there, or there may not be enough good bacteria there to destroy the yeast. Eat more GOOD yogurt, like Activia (I eat Yoplait), and eat it every day. That should help with those pesky infections!

don’t believe every thing you read on the web, folic acid will not cure bacterial vaginosis. You require to see a doctor and get tested and treated appropriately.

I was told I had bacterial vaginosis about a month ago. I utilised the gel antobiotic given to me by my physician for about 7-9 days as instructed. I was fine with no discharge for about 2 weeks, then i got my period. After my period i began getting some discharge once again. Is it achievable that i have bacterial vaginosis once more so soon? could it have been the tampons?
