Question by nerak0072: Will an untreated yeast infection cure itself or trigger larger issues?
I was taking antibiotics for an infection in my eyelids and ended up with a yeast infection (occurs to me each time I take amoxicillin). I can not afford to acquire the cream to treat it, period. Simply because you can buy the cream OTC now, my insurance business will not cover with a prescription. Will it ultimately go away on it is own?

I don’t think they go away on their own. It’ll just get more and more painful as the infection gets worse and the yeast builds up. Maybe try to go to planned parenthood and they’ll be able to help you out with the medicine?
If you don’t do anything for your yeast infection, it will get worse.
Best way is to go to the doctor, have he/she prescribe something for you to take, that will stop the infection.
No it certainly will not go away on it’s own. You have to treat it with antibiotics to make it go away.
I’ve never heard of it going away by it’s self. The antibiotic’s messed up your bodies natural chemical balance so that’s how you got the yeast infection. Looks like your gonna have wait till your next pay check or borrow some money sorry! Next time you get an infection tell your doctor you always get a yeast infection maybe he will give you a free sample. I Have asked for free samples of products before and they have given them to me.
Just ask your MD to write for rx only diflucan. An untreated yeast infection will not cure itself.
